Mr. Arijit Lodha was born in Australia to parents from India who were completing their medical training. In 2000, at 10 months old, Arijit and his family moved to Canada. He was a curious and
engaged child, despite health challenges like Febrile Convulsion and a tumor in his jaw at age 11 that required major surgery. Rather than sulking, Arijit used his experiences with adversity to benefit his community and aided students with severe autism at his school.
His musical talents and speaking skills have enabled him to create awareness for mental health and childhood education. He co-founded Rajasthan Association of North America (RANA) Calgary Youth with his sister at age 14, mentoring more than 50 Rajasthani youth who recently immigrated to Canada since the organization’s inception. He has been granted dozens of academic awards and is dedicated to philanthropy and giving back to those less fortunate.
