Summary

The Camps Service Technician is responsible for repair, regular maintenance, set up and tear out of Precision Camp’s surface equipment, wellsite and camp units, and generator buildings.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular wellsite trailer and camp unit maintenance that includes plumbing, electrical, satellite receiver repairs, furnace and a/c inspections and repair, some trim and carpentry work.
• Perform oil changes, and complete minor generator/engine repairs.
• Cleaning, repairing and painting equipment;
• Other general shop tasks as assigned;
• Occasional out of town travel is required; and
• Requirement to work overtime as well as participate in an on-call rotation.
• Required to operate Heavy Equipment (ie: front end loaders.)

Knowledge & Skills

Valid Class 5 Drivers License and current Drivers Abstract;

Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S, CSO and FIRST AID;

Excellent safety record and demonstrated commitment to a safe work environment;

Strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to work independently and able to work well with others in a team setting

Positive attitude

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

Education

High School Diploma;

Completion of college and/or vocational and technical training is considered an asset;

Experience

Previous experience in similar role is considered an asset.
