Summary

The Painter will report to the Painting and Coatings Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Use of airless spray equipment, mixing, prepping and masking for industrial applications.
• Preparation, shot blasting and assisting painters for industrial coatings applications.
• Knowledge of industrial coatings and applications.
• Flexible shift work.
• Overtime often required.

Knowledge & Skills

Must be willing to work in safety conscious environment.

Must be self-motivated and have good communication skills.

Candidate must have a positive attitude with the ability to work well with others and on their own; and,

Must be available for overtime and varied start times.

Education

High School Diploma.

Post-Secondary Education is considered an asset.

Experience

Familiarity with industrial painting applications and processes.

2 years of previous experience preferred, but will train suitable candidates.

Forklift experience required.
