Casey Kennedy

Casey combines her natural ability to build and nurture partnerships with her passion for working toward providing all with equal opportunities to help improve the lives of newcomers in Calgary. As a leader, she exemplifies a ‘clear is kind’ approach, challenging her team to be their best and setting them up for success in their roles.

Before returning to Canada to lead the Gateway transformation with Immigrant Services Calgary, Casey worked internationally across four continents, including transformations in Guatemala and Sierra Leone. A life-long learner who never shies away from a challenge or thinking big, Casey has years of experience in start-ups, and helping organizations develop innovative approaches to enhance and scale services. 

Casey holds a master’s degree in international development. She is trilingual, fluently speaking French and Spanish, alongside her native English.
