Effective Immediately:  ISC’s In-Home Support Program will be transitioning to Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association (CIWA) on April 1st, 2021.

Eric Wang took to skiing easily so he figured, why not try snowboarding too – after all it looks “so cool.” 

Parastoo Hosseini is a new immigrant, she just moved to Canada five years ago. She is currently studying Biochemistry at the University of Calgary and looking forward to a career in medicine. She enjoys meeting new people and making connections, this is evident in her dedication to volunteering with Immigrant Services Calgary.

If you need a good reason to get out on the slopes and learn how to ski or snowboard, all you have to do is talk to Abi Guerra, whose embraced Alberta winters in three short years after moving to Canada from Mexico City.

Nidhi became a volunteer in July, 2020. Since then, she has been a constant source of support and positivity. When she started volunteering, Immigrant Services Calgary had transitioned services online. We needed support from volunteers like Nidhi to help deliver virtual services.
