This presentation will talk about a promising practice model developed by the Canadian Immigrant Women’s Association (CIWA) to prevent and address Gender-Based Violence (GBV) among immigrant, refugee, and newcomer women. Grounded in research and informed by lived experiences, this evidence-based model is holistic, culturally competent, and responsive to diverse women’s intersectional realities.
