Immigrant Services Calgary Leadership Update
The Immigrant Services Calgary (ISC) Board of Directors announce the departure of Nawal Al-Busaidi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The board would like to thank Nawal for her dedication to supporting newcomers to Canada and, specifically, for the contributions she made on behalf of ISC during her time in Calgary.
Under the leadership of Maiko Maruyama as Interim Chief of Staff, ISC’s board and staff are focused on steering the organization during this transition period. This organizational change will not affect ISC’s ability to deliver the highest-quality services to newcomers or achieve our strategic vision to implement Gateway with our agency, community, and business partners.
With a clear strategy to connect newcomers to the right programs and services, ISC will continue to build on its 40+ year history and ambitious vision to help immigrants and refugees build their dream lives in Calgary.
Immigrant Services Calgary's Board of Directors have already initiated a search for a new Chief Executive Officer, with plans to fill the role as soon as possible.
