What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing activities based on our engaging curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing children’s abilities, interests, and needs and discussing progress with parents and other staff.
• Assisting with all field trips to local points of interest and providing opportunities to express creativity.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Creating and updating content for our social media platforms.

What we’d love to see about you:

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) Level 1, 2, or 3 Certificate
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Social Media Skills
• Must be willing to have a Criminal Record Check and Medical check completed
• A positive and fun-loving attitude, passionate about teaching and working with children

Salary: $19.79 – $19.88 per hour plus top-up $2.64 – 8.62 per hour
