Join Our Team as a Scheduler at Bow View Manor!

Are you a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a knack for organization and scheduling? Bow View Manor is seeking a talented Scheduler to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth staffing operations across our departments.

About the Role:

As a Scheduler at Bow View Manor, you will:

  • Maintain Our Scheduling System: Manage and update the Avanti scheduling system, including work plan rotations and daily staffing changes.
  • Ensure Adequate Staffing: Fill staff vacancies promptly (due to vacation, sick calls, etc.), complete daily flow sheets, and work closely with the Director of Care and Executive Director to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Provide Key Reports: Generate and deliver monthly reports on hours assigned, worked, and spent on education to the Administrator and Director of Nursing/Care.
  • Communicate Effectively: Inform neighborhoods of all hires and terminations and handle other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

About You:

You are:

  • Proactive and Self-Motivated: You take initiative and excel at working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Your strong organizational skills help you manage varying requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Tech-Savvy: You have experience with Avanti Scheduling or similar software and are proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent Communicator: Your strong verbal and written communication skills enable you to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous scheduling or administrative experience.
  • Familiarity with Avanti Scheduling or similar software.
  • Knowledge of employee scheduling and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time, temporary position based at Bow View Manor.
  • A criminal record check will be required in accordance with Alberta Health Accommodation Standards.
