Maiko Maruyama
Maiko, a Calgary native, is passionate about people and culture. Maiko's experience has led her to work with numerous service-oriented organizations in both the corporate and non-profit sectors, with a focus on creating inclusive and caring work environments and having a positive impact on both the business and the community.
Before joining Immigrant Services Calgary as the Director of People and Culture, she spent 18 years at WestJet, contributing to the development of one of the most admired corporate cultures in Canada. During her time at WestJet, she played a significant role in launching the company's first regional carrier, WestJet Encore.
Maiko holds a master’s degree in business administration and management from McGill University.
