Workshop: How to Protect Yourself from Scams

Scams and cybercrimes can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time!

Join us with a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) and Benefits Outreach Officer, Manny Kaur, to learn about the different types of scams and resources to protect yourself against the scams. You will learn about:

  • How to recognize a scam and frauds
  • Practical tips to identify scams and how to protect yourself
  • What to do if you are scammed, and where to seek help
  • Reporting the scams
