Workshop: Resources for Families who have a Child or Loved one with a Diagnosed Disability

Are you seeking comprehensive support and services in the disability sector for your family or those you assist? Join us for a transformative workshop hosted by The Children’s Link Society, known for providing invaluable resources, information, and connections within the disabilities community. This session, led by Katie Dodd, Co-Executive Director of Partnership & Community Engagement, offers attendees the tools to navigate this complex sector effectively.

In this session, you will learn about:

• The Children’s Link Society and the resources and support they offer to the community.
• The diverse range of services accessible to your family
• The local support networks and resources within the community.

The Children’s Link Society is known and valued for offering resources, information, connections, and hope to families and professionals in the disabilities community. Their resource database contains more than 1,000 community resources, which enables them to provide people with a comprehensive variety of service and support options. Through conversations with the Family Support Team, guidance to access resources, and links to community events and support groups, Children’s Link provides a safe, inclusive environment for people to be equipped, empowered, and engaged.
